VRG was incorporated on 24 August 2024 by five Somali professionals who shared a vision for a dynamic hybrid organization capable of working on large-scale development and investment projects while supporting humanitarian and community resilience initiatives.
The founding team brought experience across business, development, academia, social activism and humanitarian work. Their shared purpose was to contribute skills, knowledge and resources toward strengthening resilience and sustainable development in Somalia and the wider East African region.
